Vacant FM Allotments by State  

These are known commercial vacant FM allotments that have already been approved by the FCC.  The FCC will likely auction these.  The allotments are known as of November 1, 2008. 

The coverage contour for each vacant allotment is the 60 dBu field strength.  The coverage was calculated based upon the allotment reference site and the maximum permitted power and antenna height for the respective allotment station class.  Uniform terrain is assumed in all radial directions. 

It is recommended that a more detailed allocation and coverage analysis be completed before any bid is made on an allotment.
